How can I establish and remove a connection to Garmin (Connect)

One hint before you start: It will take some time (up >48h) before MATS will get all data from GARMIN. Please stay patient, you were just really diligent in the past and produced a lot of data.

Connect to Garmin Connect:

  1. Tap on “More”.

  2. Under “User Settings”, tap on “Connections”.

  3. Tap on “Garmin Connect”.

  4. Follow the instructions on the screen.

Delete connection to Garmin Connect:

  1. Tap on “More”.

  2. Under “User Settings”, tap on “Connections”.

  3. Tap on “Garmin Connect”.

  4. Tap on “Delete” in the pop-up window.

Please also make sure in the Garmin Connect app if the connection has been deleted from that side as well.

Open the MATS app Go to “More” Go to “Connections” Scroll down to “Upload fit file” at the bottom of the screen Upload the file (also possible for multiple files) The activity will automatically appear in the calendar on the correct day
